Filipino Dinning

Philippine culture mirrors in our Filipino dinning with our Philippine food. We Filipinos are fastening together, up to extended family. During our feast we cheerfully eat together and dinning table is our meeting place.Base on our experience,as a rule no one will eat if one of the members isn’t home. It’s an old tradition that my grandmother had been encountered. We Filipinos have also five meals a day from breakfast, lunch, and dinner and up to our snacks and merienda we spend go each moment together. Despite of what kind of food we’re swallowing, if it is lechon, kare-kare or tuyo and noodles we still find joy because we where in our family and always thankful for the blessings. As I observe, the scenario during our meal is pleasant and loaded with lots of conversations. We have our sharing times We our companionate with each other, sharing experiences at office and school and a moment that the word secret will forget. Some issue will be settle if there is a conflict problem in your family if the head of the family was good and sensitive in it.







The "kamayan" scenario was also a trademark of a Filipino. We are not just using spoon and fork but also with our bare hands we can eat. Before, I also practicing kamayan and it feels like you want to eat more and I can deliciously taste the food. The style is unique old traditions that up to now still practicing.







During occasions, we Filipinos want to celebrate with more food and as fantastic as they can. In the first place we have lots of occasions to celebrate from fiesta, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, baptism, Christmas day, Noche Buena, New Year and other special occasions and holidays. Every moment is unforgettable and budget was not an issue. At least, we plan earlier and save money but some Filipinos will going to owe for them to not miss the occasion and celebrate it with food. Our family didn’t experience, because it’s better for us to have no food during special occasions than to have a debt. If have no budget, okay its fine and there’s no need to push ourselves because at the end will be the one to suffer from debt.







During occasion’s Filipino delicacy are always present in our dinning table from special dish up to dessert. In different occasions same food were being prepared, pork recipe a typical food like spaghetti, lechon, lumpia, leche plan, puto kakanin dish and dessert that we all love to eat. We are natural singer so videoke must also be present aside from camera. From kids up to our grandmother we can all sing and every member of the family have their own "pambato" maybe your one of them. We evenly enjoy the celebrations with lots of food, picture taking and all night long singing with our videoke. From those scenarios of Filipino dinning we can say that we are all wealthy and blessed. A strong proof, despite of the problems that our country faces we still find joy in our occasions. As a nation I can conclude that food is our strong weapon and family will make us bond.
